Flores is one of Indonesia’s Lesser Sunda Islands. The west coast port town of Labuan Bajo is a gateway to Komodo National Park, also on the island is Kelimutu National Park, with its volcano and 3 intensely colored crater lakes. Flores spells adventure, diving, eco-tours, and mountain climbing interspersed with visits to prehistoric heritage sites, traditional villages and cultural events. Find some of the world’s most exotic underwater life, dive in the pristine seas of Komodo, or swim along with huge manta rays, dolphins and dugongs in the island of Flores!


6 Days Flores Adventure

Day 01: Denpasar – Ende
Pick up from your hotel in Bali and transfer to the airport for your flight to Ende, Flores Island. Upon arrival at Haji Hasan Aroeboesman – Ende airport, meeting service with your guide then drive to Moni is a small village lies on the slope of Kelimutu Lake (± 2 hours). Some stops will be made at Detusoko to see the panorama of terrace rice field. Afterwards, drive up to Moni village for overnight.

Day 02: Moni – Kelimutu – Bajawa
Early morning at 04.30 local time drive up to the top of Kelimutu Mountain to see wonderful three colored lake. Arrive at bus parking area; we will start with trekking to the top passing 275 steps (± 40 minutes). If the weather permitted you will see fantastic sun rise from the top with many line of mountain as the background. Afterwards, drive down to Moni for breakfast at your hotel. Relax for a while then continue for a long drive to Bajawa with stop at Nua Bosi to enjoy the landscape of Ende town and the crater of mount Iya. Trip continues to Nanga Penda to see blue stone beach and to Nage Keo village to see the traditional house with its unique construction and see grand buffaloes horn. Drive to Bajawa for your accommodation.

Day 03: Bajawa – Bena – Ruteng
Breakfast at your hotel, then drive toward southern part of Bajawa to visit Bena village, the biggest traditional village in Flores Island with their megalithic stones, hand weaving and their unique Ngadu and Bagha with mystical story and meaning. After that, drive back to Bajawa to Aimere district, the place where local people are making local alcoholic drinking called ARAK by local language. Enjoy and take picture or just taste where local people distil palm juice to become Arak with boiling and steam. Trip continues to Ruteng, on the way we will stop at Ranamese, to see a lake located on slope of mountain with cool weather. Arrive in Ruteng, direct check in at your hotel. After lunch at local restaurant, drive to Ruteng Pu’u to see traditional house of Manggaraian with their megalithic stones in middle of village and altar.

Day 04: Ruteng – Labuan Bajo
After breakfast, drive to south part to Lembor district, on the way will stop at Cara village to see spider web rice field called LINGKO by local language. Lingko is a typical farmer land in the group or clan belong to Manggaraian (west part ethnic group) when they divided land. Continue drive to Lembor to see the biggest rice field irrigation in the area. After lunch continue drive to Labuan Bajo.

Day 05: Komodo Island – Pink Beach
Early morning transfer to the harbor to get on board a local motorized boat to Komodo Island which takes about 4 hours. Rinca. Upon arrival in Komodo Island, you will have short briefing then begin the trekking to see the Komodo dragon and other wild life animal such as deer and buffalo in their pure environment. The trekking will takes about 90 minutes. Afterwards, return to your boat for lunch then visit to Pink beach with its wonderful coral and colorful fishes. Spend your time for snorkeling, swimming or sun bathing before return to the harbor.

Day 06: Labuan Bajo – Denpasar
Enjoy and relax at your hotel until midday where we will pick you up for lunch then transfer to the airport for your return flight to Bali.
