5 Days Magical Bali

Day 01: Arrival Bali
Selamat Datang di Bali! Welcome to Bali! Upon your arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport of Denpasar you will be met by the tour guide outside the arrival hall. Start your Bali experience already on the way to your resort and spend the rest of the day unpacking and exploring the beautiful surroundings of your resort.

Day 02: Art and Volcano
Prepare yourself to enjoy the ride to the artisan village in Bali. The first stop during this tour will be at the Village of Kemenuh to visit the talented Balinese woodcarving artists in their traditional workshops. See how they make beautiful statues and art out of a single block of wood. Afterwards the journey continues to Kintamani for a view of the breathtaking Lake Batur and the active Volcano of Mount Batur. Here there will be an opportunity to enjoy lunch with this excellent view. Our next destination is Tampaksiring, “The Fountain of Youth” and Holy Spring and on the way back we will visit the famous silversmiths of Celuk and the well-known village of Ubud, to walk through a path to visit Puri Saren Agung, the Ubud Palace from where Ubud was ruled from in late 1800s till World War II and walk crossed the palace to visit Ubud Art Market. Return to hotel in late afternoon.

Day 03: East Bali Explorer
The first visit will be in Tohpati where you will be introduced to the fine art of Batik painting. After this interesting visit, we will proceed to the eastern part of Bali, with visit to Goa Lawah, the Bat Cave Temple in the cliff face is jam-packed full of bats that fly out after dusk. Trip continues to the hill of Mount Agung (3142 meters), Bali’s most sacred and highest volcano with its last eruption in 1963. Built on one of the volcano’s slopes is the Besakih Temple Complex, this important temple is sacred to the Balinese Hindu population and is also called “The Mother Temple”. At Mahagiri, we will stop for a refreshing view of the beautiful valley and you will have the opportunity of having lunch. On our way back from east of Bali you will discover the traditional village of Penglipuran. These unique social communities has a structure and village layout dating back to the 16th century and also visit to the Hall of Justice, also known as “Kerta Gosa” in Klungkung, Bali´s former capital. Afterwards return to hotel.

Day 04: Temple and Dance
Relax in the morning and in the afternoon you will be picked up for a ride along the hills of Bali’s southern peninsula. This area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequalled by any other regions of the island. Visit the highly venerated Uluwatu temple, one of the oldest temples in Bali,built on the most southern cliffs facing the Indian Ocean. Free living and curious monkeys will be your new friends for the time of the temple visit. The Stunning sunset will be the backdrop for the Kecak Dance performance near the temple, a memorable climax for this evening, a spectacular and dramatic dance performance with up to 100 dancers interpreting a part of the Ramayana story, also known as the Ramayana Monkey Chant. The dancers wear checked cloth around their waists, percussively chanting “cak” and throwing up their arms, depicting a battle from the Ramayana epic where the monkey-like Vanara helped Prince Rama fight the evil King Rahwana. Kecak was originally a trance ritual accompanied by a male chorus. German painter and musician Walter Spies became deeply interested in the ritual while living in Bali about 80 years ago and recreated it into a drama, based on the Hindu Ramayana epic and including traditional Balinese dance movements.

Day 05: Relax and Rewind
Today is at leisure, an opportunity to either enjoy the resort or independently arrange additional outings. Visit some of the street shops for last shopping or maybe just lounge by your pool.

Day 06: Departure
Relax the last hours after your breakfast at your hotel. Your tour guide will pick you up ca four hours before your flight and escort you to the airport.
